Shark ‘Expert’ Says Culling not the Solution

The shameless and rampant manner in which the main stream media finds politically motivated university ‘professors’ to quote in their stories needs more attention.

This time, I’ll at least respect the fact that Dr Neff appears to actually have done some mildly relevant research on the topic when he says the following:

China Joins UN Climate Change Feel Good Party

According to news.com.au and Federal Opposition environment spokesman Mark Butler, China has made a ‘spectacular move’ in terms of its climate change policy – and Australia should be following suit… or else.

Before we join them in getting down on our knees and praising China, let’s expose this for the complete dog’s droppings it really is.

What Has Julie Bishop Signed?

Julie Bishop has endorsed new global development goals that aim to reduce poverty over the next 15 years.

Any time I see our politicians agreeing to a UN ‘agenda’, I get very suspicious. In this case, Australia has signed up to the UN’s ‘Sustainable Development Goals’, replete with 17 goals and 169 targets. That’s right, 169.

You would think that we would get some detail of what we’ve agreed to. Not so. Instead, Sky News thought it would be better to provide us with a sound bite instead:

Shorten’s Dubious History Cannot be Airbrushed

Malcolm Farr of news.com.au is more to the Left than Jimmy Hendrix’s guitar handedness was. So it comes as no surprise when he gives Shorten the ‘simply unknown’ treatment in referring us to David Marr’s ‘Faction Man’ essay. At the risk of knocking your socks off, I can inform you that David Marr is a ‘progressive political and social commentator’.

Newsflash – Some People in Abbott’s Electorate Won’t Vote for Abbott

News.com.au and the Sydney Morning Herald have managed to find some people that won’t vote for Abbott (should he stand at the next election):

Abbott Now Apparently a Sook

You can always trust the Sydney Morning Herald to come up with this kind of garbage. I’ll spare you the frustration of reading the entire stink and take you straight to the A-grade journalism provided:

‘A big “sook”, said one Twitter user. Where is Abbott’s “fortitude”, asked another’.

Abbott Now Apparently Not Academic Enough

News.com.au loves a good Abbott bashing and this time managed to find Monash University arts professor James Walter to join the party:
