Hungry? Have Some Internet

Something tells me I’ve read more of the 17 ‘goals’ and 169 ‘targets’ in the UN’s ‘Sustainable Development Goals’ than Mark Zuckerberg, Bill and Melinda Gates, the folks over at Sky News and the dimwits at the UN who drafted them (possibly all put together).

In the race to seem good, the following pledge has come hot on the heels of the UN’s latest agenda:

What Has Julie Bishop Signed?

Julie Bishop has endorsed new global development goals that aim to reduce poverty over the next 15 years.

Any time I see our politicians agreeing to a UN ‘agenda’, I get very suspicious. In this case, Australia has signed up to the UN’s ‘Sustainable Development Goals’, replete with 17 goals and 169 targets. That’s right, 169.

You would think that we would get some detail of what we’ve agreed to. Not so. Instead, Sky News thought it would be better to provide us with a sound bite instead:
