Not So Fast Mark…

The media’s ‘analysis’ of WA Labor’s victory in the WA election seems to be missing something critical: the upper house results.

TMR explains why WA Labor’s victory isn’t quite the landslide the leftist media has projected it to be and why Pauline Hanson would be smiling at how things worked out.

Cross Post – WA Labor to Put Perth Mod Children Into High Rise CBD Towers

Would you send your children to school in a 16-25 story office tower where there are no ovals or playgrounds?

I didn’t think so.

Concerned citizen of Perth has brought my attention to this absolute disgrace which has been completely ignored by the media. While it may be too late to stop WA Labor coming into power, it doesn’t mean that Perth Modern, a fine public school which has produced the likes of Bob Hawke, Kim Beasley, Daryl Williams, Malcolm McCusker needs to be recklessly sacrificed along the way.

Please share this story (originally published here) with as many people as you can:

Editorial – You Get What You Vote For

South Australians and Queenslanders recently learnt this the hard way, while Victorians learnt the hard-left way. Now, Western Australians look like they’re about to follow the lemmings off the cliff.

Bookies currently have Labor at $1.17, with the Liberals at $4.50. And make no mistake, this election won’t be another Brexit or Trump. Those were new movements challenging an establishment, while this election is simply a case of voters letting the other monkey have a go regardless of the cost. Indeed, you’d have to go back to 1959 when West Australians last let a State government last more than 10 years in power.

Not a Great Advertisement for Millenials (Update!)

In case you haven’t already seen these hilariously cringeworthy graduate videos doing the rounds, I challenge you to make it all the way through them both.

We begin with the Department of Finance and their ‘game changers’:

The Left: Classy as Ever

In case you thought the unhinged anti-Trump hysteria was dying down or that leftists had started accepting Trump’s presidency:

Beware the Mainstream Media

I recently agreed to attend a local networking event.

Part of the promotional material included a quote from Robert Kiyosaki – the author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad and notable rich guy among other things.

As I read the quote, I thought to myself ‘hang on a second, isn’t that the guy that supposedly went bankrupt? Why would a networking group want to quote him?’.

Almost immediately, I realised that what had crossed my mind was based almost entirely on mainstream news headlines which I had vaguely remembered. Indeed, when typing ‘Kiyosaki broke’ or ‘Kiyosaki bankrupt’ into Google, the following results came up:

Remember Bishop’s Timely Raise?

Andrew Bolt brings our attention to yet another incredible waste of taxpayer money – this time by foreign affairs minister Julie Bishop:

Where is She Now?

These days, if you’re a white person and dress yourself up with a ‘blackface’, people are going to look at you like you just came in from Mars.

It wasn’t that long ago that artists like Michael Jackson sang that ‘it don’t matter if you’re black or white’.

I also have it good authority that people hate being lied to and made fools of, although I must admit that I do not have any peer reviewed research to back this up – you’ll just have to believe me.

The Emperor Has no Clothes… Again

Remember six months ago when Turnbull allegedly promised to make the GST distribution system fairer to Western Australia?

And when the sheep at the Liberal party function he was speaking at gave him a standing ovation?

On reviewing Turnbull’s words used at the time, it was easy for TMR to call this out at yet another one of Turnbull’s hopeless thought-bubbles:

Would You Like Socialist Justice for Breakfast?

I didn’t think so.

This is simply too good not to pass on. Aside from the fact that it sells complete junk that’s full of preservatives, sugar and goodness knows what else, Jo Nova gives us another great reason not to buy Kellogg’s products:

The new marketing move by Kelloggs to insult half its customers doesn’t seem to be working out too well. Last year Kelloggs jumped into politics by loudly cancelling advertising on Breitbart saying the new media outlet didn’t fit their values…  Breitbart responded with the DumpKelloggs petition, and 436,000 people pledged never to buy Kelloggs again.

The company has now reported a $53 million dollar loss in the fourth quarter. It’s shutting down 39 distribution centres, potentially sacking 1,100 workers. Kelloggs share prices are back to where they were a year ago, but Kraft-Heinz is up 31%, and Post is up by 37%. Hey, but it could be a coincidence.
