Editorial – With Friends Like Chris…

Whatever charred remains existed of what the Liberal Party once stood for, Chris Pyne managed to show up and empty his bladder on them last week.

People like me have been calling out the ‘Turnbull Coalition’ for not upholding basic Liberal Party values for some time. I’ve even gone to the length of keeping a running list of Turnbull’s thought bubbles and leftist policies so that we don’t forget them all.

Quick tangent: for some fun at home, I highly recommend going here, hitting Ctrl+F, typing in ‘liberal’ and seeing how many hits you get (!). Then do the same with ‘Turnbull’ (!!) and ‘Malcolm’ (!!!).

(Yes, you really want to do this).

Editorial – Theresa May’s Train Wreck

Now this may sound a little silly*, but if you think like Malcolm Turnbull and act like Malcolm Turnbull, then there’s a very good chance that you’ll end up like Malcolm Turnbull – and have a bad time.

Scaffidi Guilty

TMR has written extensively about Perth Lord Mayor Lisa Scaffidi’s grubby conduct.

Today, the WA State Administrative Tribunal (Tribunal) has finally found Scaffidi guilty of 45 serious breaches of the Local Government Act 1995 (WA). A full copy of the decision can be found here.

The sheer brazenness of Scaffidi’s conduct in this matter has been utterly disgraceful.

Aldi Stares Down Social Justice Brigade

In June 2016, the WA liquor licensing authority’s Peter Minchin delivered this horribly conceived and pathetic decision on Aldi’s liquor licence application for its Harrisdale store.

Our Debt Has Chosen to Identify Itself as Good

I wonder what my bank would say if I asked them to have more patience with my ‘good’ debt?

Seriously, what drugs are Scott Morrison and this Liberal government on?
